Matthew Carberry

Matthew Carberry

Chair

Matthew’s career has been spent creating and expanding companies in retail distribution and real estate industries. Presently, he is Managing Director for China Horizon Investments Group and is leading a team, in partnership with China Post, to open 10,000 stores in China. He was previously a partner at Asia Property Services Group, where he most recently represented Air China Real Estate to engineer a landmark deal with the U.R. National Basketball Association (NBA) for a partnership with the 2008 Beijing Olympic Basketball Arena.

Operations

Andrew is currently enrolled at Berkeley pursuing an MBA in social entrepreneurship. Andrew used to direct JUMP’s operations, including finances, human resources, IT, facilities, and process management. Andrew worked in Financial Planning & Analysis at Astrum Solar, Inc., a solar energy start-up that was recently ranked the #2 fastest growing private company in the United States. Previous to that, Andrew served as the Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis at GridPoint, Inc., another private company in the clean-tech space. 

Peter Luk

Finance

Peter is a designated Chartered Accountant with the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. He started his career with PricewaterhouseCooper’s audit and assurance group and had worked in the Vancouver and Calgary offices, serving clients in mining, forestry, and oil and gas. Peter is currently a member of PricewaterhouseCooper’s advisory group in Beijing. Having completed his Bachelor of Commerce degree at McGill University, Peter obtained his Masters of Professional Accounting degree from the University of Saskatchewan.

Fundraising and Finance

Based in Singapore, Claire heads up sales and business development in Asia-Pacific for Sustainalytics, a firm advising institutional investors on integrating sustainability into their investment decisions. She has previously lived, worked and studied in Washington, DC, Geneva, London, Toronto and Amsterdam, at organizations very large and very small. Claire is passionate about the positive effect that corporations can have on society and the environment. She is excited about working with JUMP to scale its global impact.
