The Journeys through Yunnan JUMP! Experience was themed around reflecting on one’s own personal journey, as the students are nearing the end of their academic journey at Stamford. At this time, students are preparing for major personal journeys in the coming years. Set in picturesque areas of Yunnan province, these spaces are more than a pretty landscape. They are points along the ancient Tea Horse Caravan Trail and thus natural points of cultural mixing between very distinct ethnic minorities, Han Chinese, Tibetans, and Europeans.
In partnership with Lijiang Guides, JUMP! facilitators worked hand-in-hand to support participants in exploring their personal journeys, building community, and thinking globally in a location that epitomizes the rich diversity of China.
