Leadership Conference

The JUMP! Leadership Conference is a year-long, three-part program: Pre-Conference Engagement, Conference, and Post-Conference Impact.

Pre-Conference Engagement period (up to 4 weeks) provides workshops on enterpreneurship and the UN Sustainable Development Goals to participants as well as facilitator training in preparation for the conference. The Conference is a two-day event where participants identify shared community challenges with open space technology and create community impact projects with design thinking. Winning projects will be provided seed funding and mentorship during the Post-Conference Engagement period (up to 47 weeks), as well as connected to a network of global changemakers for support and idea-sharing.

In partnership with local NGOs, JUMP! Development targets underserved communities around the world, equipping the leaders of tomorrow with the tools needed today. These collaborative events create platforms for young changemakers to come together and explore problems within their communities, challenge themselves, inspire one another, and acquire skills to positively impact their surroundings.

Our projects in 2016 and 2017

In 2016, we partner with local organizations to run leadership conferences in Thailand, Kenya, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Nicaragua and China. We’re organizing several conferences in Thailand, Myanmar, Indonesia, Cambodia and China for 2017.

What makes JUMP! Leadership Conference unique and meaningful is that it combines design thinking, open-space technology and rights-based approach by creating the infrastructure to cultivate and support young change-makers from underserved areas in their journey to tackle the toughest challenges in their personal lives and communities. JUMP channels these efforts by facilitating knowledge-sharing through Open Space conference model and catalyzing youth innovation for social entrepreneurship and sustainable development by providing access to mentors and capital they need to start their venture.
